I was first diagnosed with endometriosis and then Interstitial Cystitis (IC) and Vulvodynia. I suffered from lots of pain in the abdominal region which increased as time went on. It was so bad that I could not wear pants or jeans for a year. I had to wear drapes. My abdominal nerves were on fire and it was horrible! The abdominal pain was extreme which got worse. I could not work for 8 months because of the pain. I did not go out with friends because I was too sick. I could not exercise like I used to. This condition changed my eating habits extremely and I could not eat most foods.

I went to the regular doctors, urologist, gastroenterologist (GI), and pain management doctor. I had physical therapy for the bladder, underwent bladder instillations and was put on lots of drug medications. I also saw a counselor for the emotional aspects. The doctors gave me narcotics and medications for the bladder and Vulvodynia. I was taking birth control pills for the endometriosis. I was on 11 different drug medications. I could not drive for 6 weeks due to pain medications that made me dizzy. I did not like being on all the medications.

I was in pain for almost 1 year before coming to natural medicine. The pain was so excruciating every second of the day. In December 2008, a friend referred me to the Natural Medicine Center. I was not a believer in natural medicine so I was skeptical that it would help. Some of my family and friends were supportive while others were also skeptical. I started out with acupuncture treatments, drinking herbal teas and following dietary guidelines.

Because the pain was so excruciating, the recovery process was difficult. It took months before I really started feeling like myself. I am now back to work full time - even working some extra days. I am back to socializing with my friends and exercising as much as I want. I feel 95 to 98% better. To me this is a miracle and to not live in chronic pain is wonderful. I have an improved quality of life and I am off of my medications and drug free.

This clinic is awesome. Everybody is wonderful and I feel the presence of the Lord here. The staff is friendly and encouraging. I loved that Dr. Kevin Huang was praying for me when I really needed it. I am happy with the results and I feel like my old self again. I feel like this is a miracle from the Lord. My friends and family are surprised to see my recovery, and I would refer them and just anyone to the Natural Medicine Center. I was in so much pain and I was so sick and my life is back to normal. I am now a believer in natural medicine because it works.
