HEADACHES & FEVER

In November 2008, I had a series of headaches combined with fever that started on a Friday, and went on for a week. I never had these combined headaches and fever in my life, so I was scared as to what was going on with me. During the course of that time, I was in and out of urgent care and the emergency room in which they did blood work for cultures, a CT scan and spinal tap to rule out meningitis or other life threatening illnesses. After these visits, they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. The doctors were perplexed because some of the blood work indicated I had a high bacterial infection, but nothing pointed to it. I was given some medication (which I don’t recall the name of), but no explanation to what was going on with me. The headaches and fever continued.

A friend at work was aware of what I was going though and she referred me to see Dr. Huang for acupuncture. I was a bit skeptical only because I’m terrified of needles, but because my headaches were so severe I was willing to try anything. Upon being treated by Dr. Huang and on the very first day, the headaches subsided and the fever went away. Overall, I had no symptoms within a few days.

I would highly recommend Dr. Huang. He and his staff at Natural Medicine Center are truly a blessing. They are wonderful care takers and their level of service is second to none.
