I suffered from an underactive thyroid, and as a result, I became fatigued, moody and I gained a lot of weight. I also had high blood pressure, which I was prescribed a beta blocker called Metropolol. I only wanted to sleep, and around noon, I would get really sleepy. I would have to drink a lot of coffee and force myself to exercise. I did not do much housework, and I had no desire to do anything. I did not want to go out anymore and I had no social life. I also got depressed which made the normal routine impossible.

I went to the doctor’s office and they offered no treatment for my condition. They said that it was a side effect from the drug medicine that I was taking. There were no results from the treatment - only side effects such as gaining a lot of weight. Also due to my thyroid condition, the doctors told me that I had to take medications for the rest of my life.

On October 28, 2006, I came to the Natural Medicine Center because I did not want to take more drug medications. I wanted to feel better and to stay awake all day. My first impression of the clinic was that everyone was very nice and the patients were happy coming out of treatments. I was not familiar with natural medicine, but my friends and family were very supportive of my decision.

Within 1 week, everyone noticed that I was not as moody, and my co-workers were seeing the progress. I have a lot more energy, I lost weight, and I am feeling so much better. The medical doctors had told me that I would always have to take medications for my blood pressure. But I am no longer on high blood pressure medications, and my blood pressure is normal. My mood is a lot better and I have a social life now – no more sitting around. 

I feel great about the results that I tell everybody about the Natural Medicine Center. I am always trying to have my friends come over and I would recommend it to everyone. The staff makes me feel special, and they are very cheerful and hopeful. I did not expect to feel this good this fast, and I want to emphasize how short it took for me to get better. I wish I had come sooner. Natural ways are always best!
