I suffered from chronic constipation since childhood. As a teenager, I developed an auto-immune condition of the skin called lichen sclerosis. This condition developed mainly in the anal area and would swell and it was very painful. I couldn’t sit and I was afraid to go to the bathroom. Sometimes I couldn’t go to work because it was very painful. I just wanted to lay in bed, which made me sad. When it flared up, it brought on tiredness, and I had no energy and was lethargic.

From 1998-2005, I sought modern medicine treatments. I had tons of tests and even a biopsy to determine if there was cancer. The medical doctors prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs and anti-depressants. They also gave me a steroid cream, which thinned the skin. There were no results, only minor relief from the treatments.

In August of 2005, I came to the Natural Medicine Center. I was referred here by a friend who was coming. He was very ill and he looked great, so I felt positive coming here. I wasn’t expecting anything but was hopeful that natural medicine would work. I received acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition guidelines, and was taught stretching and massaging exercises. The treatments are very relaxing and soothing and the herbal teas are tailored for my body. I also came to the seminars and was taught what to eat. They are so informative.

When I first came to the Natural Medicine Center, I hadn’t had a bowel movement in 3 weeks. Within a day, I was going after every meal. Right away my energy came up. I started feeling better within less than a week of treatment. My periods weren’t as painful and I was able to sleep through the night, which I could never do before. I have a better mood, more energy, and my skin is better. The people at work have noticed the improvements and my friends and family are excited to see the difference.

I am so thankful for natural medicine because I believe it works and it won’t hurt you. I tell everyone about it and I refer others to the Natural Medicine Center.
