For 9 years, since I was 18 years old, I suffered from anxiety and panic attacks. I was afraid when in the subway, in stores, and I was scared basically of walking by myself. My heart would beat fast, it was hard to breath, and I had hot flashes. I could not be by myself outside of the house or do any kind of activities outside.
I came to the Natural Medicine Center on August 31, 2004 because I didn’t want to take any more drugs and I wanted to see if natural medicine would work. A friend also told me she got acupuncture for allergies and it helped her. I received acupuncture, herbal medicine and supplements. The acupuncture is painless and I got used to the herbs.
I started feeling better after 2 weeks. Some days were good and some were bad, but after 2 months, the anxiety is gone and I can enjoy doing things without all the symptoms. I am able to do more on my own. My energy is better and my diet is better. I believe that the body can heal if you treat it the right way without drugs.
The clinic is nice and clean and feels like home. The staff is caring, friendly and nice. The medical staff is caring, informative, very helpful, professional and nice. I would refer everybody. I feel good about the results and the treatments helped me a lot.
