“As a result of the treatments,
I have been healed completely from my thyroid condition
and cholesterol problem."

In 1993, I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition which caused a weight problem. For the first 3 months, I went through tons of blood work and changing medications to find balance. In 2000, I was diagnosed with high cholesterol. I was worried about getting a heart attack. I was depressed because I thought that I would go through the same health deterioration my father went through.

For the cholesterol, I had to take pills everyday. I went through radiation treatment for my thyroid and different medications. I took drugs that I knew would destroy my liver if I didn't monitor it, and the end result could have been a liver transplant. I knew that I would be taking pills for the rest of my life. I felt tired because of the thyroid and I was lethargic and fatigued. My condition made me really watch what I ate all the time.

On July 14, 2008, I came to the Natural Medicine Center for treatment. I wanted to reduce or limit all drug medications. I believed in holistic medicine and my family and friends were supportive. The clinic smells good - all the herbs smell so good, fresh and clean. I began acupuncture treatments, taking herbal medicine, and following nutrition guidelines and dietary guidelines.

I am elated about the results. As a result of the treatments, I have been healed completely from my thyroid condition and cholesterol problem, and I stopped taking the drug medications. I have increased energy and I am joyous. I am giving information to many people and spreading the word. I have always believed in natural medicine and it just encourages me more to be mindful and focused. The staff is wonderful as always and the clinic is a life saver.
